I don't see the satellite I want to receive listed in my DVB software, what do I do?

Many times satellites change names when they are purchased by another company. For Example. Telstar 5 at 97w changed named to Intelsat America's 5 and then to Galaxy 25 so you should check to see if its listed as another name.

If its not listed the DVB software should let you manually add the satellite and transponder information. or you can goto a website like
http://joshyfun.peque.org/transponders/index.html  or http://joshyfun.cjb.net to download the satellite information file in the format you need. Many  DVB programs use the .INI file format that can be imported.

The contents of the INI file look something like this.

[SATTYPE]
1=2630
2=Galaxy 25
