Can I put the antenna in my Attic?

Yes you can, But keep in mind that your reception can be reduced  by 50% easily. Plus any metallic objects can either block signal or create multipath problems. You also may be limited as to how much you can adjust the direction of your antenna . If at all possible you should try to place your antenna outside.
